A behind-the-scenes tour of the The Lyric and The Drum gives you a unique look at how a busy theatre operates. Our backstage tour aims to take you you behind the scenes to view the The Lyric auditorium from the stage, the flexible format of The Drum, the orchestra pit, the trap-rooms and front-of-house areas. Glimpse inside the dressing rooms, wings and backstage areas, experience some of the theatricality, heritage and tradition all in the company of well-informed and enthusiastic guides.

Cotehele's First World War exhibition features photos, trench art and personal items loaned from members of the local community.
Not many people are aware that Cotehele House is a war memorial. To commemorate the centenary of the First World War we are holding an exhibition of items loaned from members of the local community, who have generously shared their stories with us.

Climb aboard the 22ft 'Nancy Belle' and take a ride up the river.
Starting from Cotehele Quay the 'Shamrock's' support boat, 'Nancy Belle', will head up the river Tamar past riverside woodlands, under the railway viaduct, past Calstock and deeper into the valley towards Morwellham Quay. Throughout the trip there will be a commentary on the valley's fauna, flora and history. The trip will last approximately two hours. Please wear clothing suitable to the predicted weather.

The Musical
In the final hours of 14th April 1912 the RMS Titanic, on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York, collided with an iceberg and ‘the unsinkable ship’ slowly sank. It was one of the most tragic disasters of the 20th Century. 1517 men, women and children lost their lives.
Based on real people aboard the most legendary ship in the world, Titanic The Musical is a stunning and stirring production focusing on the hopes, dreams and aspirations of her passengers.
